Description

My name is Hassan Shahid. I am a left hand top order batsman and I am a right arm fast bowler. I play cricket for Ireland u17s, Leinster u17s, Leinster Schools Boys Team 2024 and Rush 1st XI. Along with playing for Rush as a club, I made my way through the Cricket Ireland pathway representing Leinster from u11 to u17 age groups. With my batting performances I was selected for Ireland u15 in 2021 and Ireland u17 in 2023. I was apart of the winning Leinster Team in 2023’s U17 InterProvincial Cup. I also made my International debut against Scotland U17s in the Celtic Cup. My 2024 season has been excellant from leading my school St. Joseph’s Rush to it’s first ever Leinster School’s Cup as captain, to captaining Leinster School Boys Team in a 2 day game against Ulster Schools. I have managed to score 2 hundreds this year and scoring around 800 runs including youth and adult cricket. I hope to be a Brand Ambassador of the company that could sponsor me and use its contribution towards my performances and becoming an even better player.
