Hello,

I am looking for help to financially support an opportunity in my sport that I would I desperately want to participate in however financially I am finding it difficult. I have recently qualified to represent Scotland in the Hyrox world Championships which is to be held in Chicago on June the 14th this year. I qualified after coming 2nd at the Hyrox competition in Manchester and this was only my second Hyrox race. It is a sport that I have trained really hard for and made lots of sacrifices to try and do well at. I am so proud to have qualified and would love to attend and compete however the flight cost and stay to get to Chicago even just for the day before the race leaving the day after is substantial. Many of these athletes are full time ( the winner of my age category in Manchester was Holly Archer a GB athlete who got silver at the European Championships) I am a 33 year old mum of a 2 year old and work full time, my sport is my passion and I have worked really hard to train to a high level around my other commitments. Qualifying is a huge deal for me and I really don’t want to pass up the opportunity however the cost of the trip is making it very difficult for me to justify being able to attend.
