Summary
Description
I’d like to think that I am well respected and well known in local snooker leagues and have competed in the North West of England and occasionally UK wide for 9 years now. In October 2023 I was diagnosed with autism which has allowed me to now pursue my passion of snooker more UK wide and nationally occasionally by entering onto the World Disability Snooker Tour.
I played in my debut event at Woking Snooker Centre on 12th-14th January where I reached the semi finals getting beat 3-2 from 2-0 up. I look to be on this tour for the foreseeable future and my aim is to be in the semifinals and finals every event and become number 1 in due time.
One of the other main goals when entering the WDBS events is to just have fun and enjoy the game I love! At the same time have the opportunity to get to know everyone on tour more as it is a great community and amazing weekend.
I’ve also got dreams of taking part in the Paralympics some day and so with that said, I am putting things in place to make this dream a reality such as booking more time in with my coach, Neil Johnson and putting the time in on the beautiful green baize, alongside entering other competitions through the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) gaining more competition experience.
My highest solo practice break is 127 and my highest competitive break is 97, I’m aiming to break the 100 barrier in competitive play this year, the dream would be on tour!
At age 15 I became the youngest player in history to win the individuals Guinness Cup in my local league - CMS Liverpool League. The record had been standing for over 50 years until I broke it.
I’ve also come runner up for the individual John Daly cup within my local league.
I’ve also had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with some of the best in our sport in exhibitions such as Steve Davis, John Parrett, Ken Doherty, Mark Williams and Shaun Murphy! Me and John played scotch pairs against Ken and we made a 77 break which he broke down on!
I have product sponsorship from Taom and Century Cues at the moment.
I would really appreciate any paid sponsorship you can offer and I would be honoured to have your badge on my waistcoat and tag your social handle(s) in my social media posts. Any paid sponsorship would go a long way for me to continue this amazing journey :)
